Where is the Start and Finish line?The race starts at Peak Galleria and finishes at the Mount Austin Playground.

What is the start time for the race?The race starts at 8.00am. Participants can arrive at Mount Austin Playground at 7.00am to deposit their bags and then make their way down to the Peak Galleria to start the race.

Would there be special transport arrangements on the race day morning?No, all participants are to make their own journey to the Peak for the race.

How can I register for the event?All registrations will be handled online at the race’s website.

When would the registration start and how much is the entry fee?Registration starts today and the entry fee is HK$350. Entry is available on first-come, first-served basis. The Event Organiser reserves the right to close entries before the deadline once the quotas are full without prior notice.

What should I do if I have applied but have not received a confirmation notice?A confirmation message will be shown once your registration is completed and successful. A confirmation email will be sent to you immediately as well. If you experience a system error and do not receive any of the above, please call (852) 2175 6783.

What should I do if I experienced problems and system timeout during the online registration process?If your application was incomplete or unsuccessful, please retry the registration.

What does the entry fee include?An official t-shirt, a runner’s pack (bib, safety pins, timing chip), distilled water, and first aid services.

How do I make my payment after completing the registration form?You will be led to a secure platform to make payment after completing your online registration form.

What payment methods are accepted?You may make your payment online with your credit card.

When and where can I collect my Runner’s Pack?The Runner's Pack is available for pick up from 16 - 20 October. You can pick it up in person or authorise a third party to collect it for you by presenting the original Runner’s Pack Collection email.

Can I authorise another person to pick up my Runner’s Pack?You can authorise a representative to pick up your Runner’s Pack.

Can you send the Runner’s Pack to me by post?No. Runner’s Packs will NOT be sent by post. This is to avoid the risk of losing the package during postage.

Would it be possible to change the size of the t-shirt?No. There is no guarantee that your selected size will be available, t-shirt sizes given to participants will be subject to stock availability.

What should I wear to the run?Please put on proper sportswear and running shoes. Remember to put the bib (with the timing chip) on your chest clearly visible at all times during the race to enable race officials to identify your race number.

What should I bring with me on race day?You must bring the bib and the timing chip to the race. If you wish to deposit your bag, please bring your bag to the Mount Austin Playground for storage. Please do not include any valuable item(s), the Event Organiser will not be responsible for any loss or damage.

Does the Event Organiser provide pre-race training?No, the Event Organiser does not provide any pre-race training.

Should I eat before the run?The Event Organiser recommends all runners conduct a medical check-up before the run to ensure that you are in a fit and healthy condition for the run. You should also take a light breakfast two hours before the run.

Do I need to buy my own insurance?Public Liability Insurance is covered by the Event Organiser. Participants are advised to take up their own personal or other insurance policies separately. Participants are also advised to seek medical advice before the race to check if they are fit enough to complete the distance they have entered.

What if I forgot my bib and my timing chip on the day, will I be given another set on the day?Timing Chip will be attached to the back of the Bib. If you do forget your bib and timing chip on the day, you may collect one for the cost of HK$60 (subject to availability). Also, the Bib and Timing Chip are not transferable. Remember to bring your Bib with Timing Chip on the Race Day.

Can I take photos during the race?The Event Organiser does not advise participants to take photos at Start Area, en-route and Finish Area, due to the large number of participants and some parts of the course are relatively narrow.

Do I need to report to any officials upon my arrival on the day?No, after depositing your baggage at Mount Austin Playground (if you require this service from the Event Organiser), you should proceed to Peak Galleria. You will be guided to the Start Area by Race Officials 10 minutes before the Start Time of your race. There might be queues at the baggage area, please allow sufficient time for completing baggage deposit services.

Will cut-off time be set for the run?Yes. In order to provide an orderly organised competition for participants, cut-off times will be set. The access to the Start Area will be blocked by Race Officials to prevent further access of the late participants and the cut-off time for the run is 2 hours.

Will there be kilometres marking along the race and how often will they appear?Yes. There will be markings along the race.

Will the public be using the road during the run?Yes, there will be pedestrians and cars at certain parts of the road, please be aware of vehicles and pedestrians on the course.

Is the race course very hilly?The race course is generally flat with no extreme elevation for the runners. There will be a 200m reasonable climb before the finish.

Where are the water stations?Water stations will be located approximately at around the 4km point and 7.5km point.

What kind of fluid will be served at the water station?Water will be provided at the water stations along the course and at the Finish Area.

Will energy food be provided along the course?Only water will be provided to avoid causing hazards to other runners. Snacks station will be available at the Finished Area at Mount Austin Playground.

Where are the First Aid Stations?First Aid Service will be provided by St John’s Medical Service. First Aid stations will be located at the Start Area, all water stations along the routes and at the Finish Area.

Where are the toilet facilities?Public toilet facilities are available.

What do I do if I can’t complete the race within the specific time?If you are unable to reach the checkpoint within the specific time, sweepers will be present to take you to the finished line. Should you want to drop out of the run, please inform the sweeper and proceed directly to the Mount Austin Playground to pick up your baggage.

Where do I go after I cross the finished line?You can proceed to the baggage area at the Mount Austin Playground to redeem your deposited bag, you may also proceed to the snack and beverage station to re-energise yourself. Presentation for the first, second and third place of each category will be presented and you are welcome to watch the presentation.

Where is the baggage deposit area?Baggage handling services are provided free of charge. The baggage deposit area is located at the Mount Austin Playground.

When will the baggage deposit service be closed?Baggage deposit services must be done 30 minutes before the start of the race. Baggage deposit services will be closed at 10.30am.

What can I do if my baggage is lost?You can seek assistance at the "Lost & Found" counter located in the baggage collection area.

How can I collect my bag after the race?You can proceed to collect your bag at the baggage deposit area at the Mount Austin Playground.

When can I collect my bag?Participants may collect their baggage right after the race.

Can I exchange my timing chip with another person?No. Each Timing Chip with its number matches with the participant's information and it is being matched before the race. Therefore the Timing Chip cannot be changed, exchanged or sold to other people. Otherwise, you and the transferee will both be disqualified from the race.

When and where can I check my results?The list of winners will be announced at the Finish Area on the day. Full results of all finishers will be announced via this website after the event.

What should I do if I have doubts about my race results?Should you have any inquiry about your result, please email to hk@cpaaustralia.com.au

What if I run beyond the cut-off time?According to the race regulations, your result will not be published on the website.

What awards will be presented?Medals will be presented to the first three winners of each category. Prizes will be given to the winner of each category.

Are all runners eligible to compete for the medals?Yes, all participants in their designated category are eligible to compete for the first, second and third places in their categories.

Where and when will the prize presentation be conducted?The Prize Presentation Ceremony will commence at the Finish Area (Mount Austin Playground) at 9.30am on the Race Day of 21 October 2023. All awarded winners will be invited to receive their awards.

Where and when do the prize winners report to the officials?Winners must report to the race officials 20 minutes before the presentation at the Winners Booth located at the Finish Area (Mount Austin Playground). If winners failed to attend the Prize Presentation Ceremony on time, he/she will not be allowed to redeem his/her prize after the event. Besides, only authorised representatives are allowed to redeem the prize for winners who have informed the Event Organiser in advance.

If I wish to dispute and appeal regarding the results on the race day, what should I do?For prize winners or potential prize winners wishing to dispute the results, an appeal must be submitted to the Result Referee at the Finish Area within 30 minutes after the official announcement of the results. The Event Organiser reserves the right not to entertain any dispute or appeal submitted thereafter.
